Drive Partner and Channel Sales for a leading data virtualization company by winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with channel, reseller, and systems integrator / consulting partners. Achieve sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives while working closely with marketing to drive joint demand-generation and with Direct Sales colleagues in the field to accelerate opportunities through partners.Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit new qualifying partners that meet your business needs.
  • Establish productive relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate partner needs, gaps, and requirements.
  • Develop training materials and coordinate partner training programs.
  • Lead solution development efforts that address end-user needs and provide value.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives and financial targets.
  • Coordinate company involvement to meet partner performance objectives.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Foster excellent communication internally and externally to manage channel conflict and promote collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of indirect sales and channel development experience.
  • Track record of results-oriented sales and partner management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the workings of reseller, systems integrator, and consulting ecosystems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
