Insurance Manager Job Overview

The Insurance Manager occupies a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient implementation and supervision of insurance coverage in accordance with FIFA requirements.

This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including the FIFA Insurance Lead, Legal and Procurement teams, to ensure timely implementation of insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor local insurance solutions for FWWC 2027 entities.
  • Advise and monitor insurance requirements for Host Cities, Stadium Owners, and Training Site Owners.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure contracts include adequate insurance clauses and indemnities.
  • Develop and implement an insurance manual and claim administration policies.
  • Manage claims, recording, administering, and reporting them.
  • Serve as the insurance interface for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks, proposing countermeasures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in insurance and risk management.
  • Solid experience with the Brazilian insurance market and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian insurance laws and standard practices.
  • Familiarity with local market players and negotiation experience.
  • Proven track record in risk management and insurance issue resolution.
  • Right to work in Brazil.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
