Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Planner to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects.

About the Role

The Strategic Project Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution. This involves collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project timelines and resources.

  • You will develop detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • You will interface with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data.
  • You will monitor project progress, identify deviations to the baseline, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • You will prepare regular progress reports, including schedule updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics.
  • You will facilitate planning meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project planning within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6 preferred).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
