About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team at Encora Inc. in Brazil. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for our ReactJS, TypeScript, and Python-based applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
  • Conduct thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Perform performance, security, and usability testing.
  • Analyze test results and identify defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Propose innovative testing approaches and tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a SDET with a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with testing ReactJS, TypeScript, and Python-based applications.
  • Experience with Microservices and Infrastructure as Code/config management tools.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress or Playwright with JS.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or Python programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with prompt engineering (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot) is a plus.
