Outbound Operations Team Manager

We are seeking a strategic leader to manage our outbound operations team. This is a dynamic role that requires a unique blend of operational expertise, people management skills, and business acumen.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of 50-100 associates across multiple shifts
- Drive operational excellence through the management of key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, quality, and safety metrics
- Implement and maintain standardized work processes to ensure consistent performance
- Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate business updates to the team
- Manage workforce planning and staffing to meet business demands
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace standards
- Train and develop first-level associates and supervisors
- Collaborate with support teams (HR, Safety, Training) to drive continuous improvement
- Manage performance through data analysis and actionable insights
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of experience in a similar field
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Physical ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Experience in employee and performance management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques
