IT Infrastructure Monitoring and Deployment Specialist

Your contribution to our mission:
Deliver timely and effective assistance to IT Operations teams by addressing alerts related to IT infrastructure and resolving the underlying issues using established protocols. Collaborate with other IT Operations teams when their expertise is necessary to rectify the situation causing the monitoring alert. Engage in tasks throughout the IT infrastructure lifecycle associated with provisioning.

  • Become part of a committed IT infrastructure team focused on deploying innovative technologies that enhance our operational efficiencies and support our workforce and customer revenue streams. Oversee and document service-impacting modifications within the Enterprise infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and interpret incident alerts concerning outages or performance degradation in infrastructure components and services affecting the Enterprise through monitoring tools.
  • Execute VM deployment and other standardized IT infrastructure provisioning activities.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations teams during the installation, upgrade, or retirement of infrastructure or software.

Essential qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in IT.
  • Experience in Systems Administration on Windows and Linux servers.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
  • Proficiency with system and infrastructure monitoring tools including Argent, ManageEngine, vCenter, Nagios, Oracle OEM, Whatsup Gold, Prometheus, etc.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills, with the ability to follow technical guidance and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and/or Networking Technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix or similar application delivery technologies.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP and the capability to comprehend and assist in resolving network server issues or network infrastructure challenges.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and a general understanding of various technical disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
