Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of a robust compliance framework to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations, business strategy, and corporate values. The successful candidate will have experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services.

  • Develop and continuously enhance the company's compliance program to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Act as the statutory representative before regulatory authorities, handling oversight of AML/CTF frameworks and sanctions compliance.
  • Oversee client onboarding, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting in accordance with local and international standards.
  • Design and maintain internal control systems to detect, prevent, and respond to compliance and risk issues.
  • Supervise the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework, identifying operational, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Support crisis response and business continuity protocols to safeguard client interests.
  • Ensure all client-facing materials adhere to regulatory guidelines and reflect the company's ethical and legal standards.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services laws and regulations, including AML and CTF, and experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or Risk Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial services laws and regulations, including those related to the Central Bank of Brazil and The Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM).
  • Ability to liaise with regulatory bodies and handle regulatory reporting.
