About the Role

This is a critical position within our organization responsible for ensuring adherence to Brazilian and international regulations. The Senior Compliance Officer will oversee compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. This includes ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of regulatory filings, licenses, registrations, and reporting obligations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compliance, deep expertise of Brazilian regulations, and excellent analytical skills to interpret complex regulations. A proven track record of managing compliance staff, dealing with regulators, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance with applicable Brazilian and international regulations as well as internal standards.
  • Ensure all required regulatory filings, licenses, registrations, and reporting obligations are timely and accurately fulfilled.
  • Keept up to date and assess the impact of new regulatory and legal developments.
Requirements
  • Law, Engineer, or Accountant Degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Compliance position. Asset Management experience is desirable.
  • Unquestionable integrity and commitment to ethical business conduct.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulations and turn them into actionable guidance.
  • Strategic and cross-functional leadership, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English (bilingual proficiency required).
  • Detail-oriented with a strong grasp of the broader business environment.
