The Lad Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director, Compliance Officer (EDCO) and Regional Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer (RGRCO) in defining, implementing, and leading the Compliance Program for identified entities, divisions, business groups, or functions in the Latin America Division.
Responsibilities- Provide support to EDCO and RGRCO in enhancing, further developing, implementing, maintaining, continuously improving and leading the Compliance Management System.
- Assist in building and strengthening relationships with key internal business partners to enhance overall compliance culture and program in assigned entities, divisions, and business groups.
- Offer guidance and advice on day-to-day proactive ethics and compliance matters to entities and distributors within the Latin America Division.
- Collaborate with members of the Compliance Department, Global Compliance function, OCA Legal Department, and other functional areas to ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, and the Compliance Management System.
- A bachelor's degree and postgraduate qualifications such as an MBS, LLM, J.D., or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of compliance management system or relevant legal experience is necessary; medical device, pharmaceutical, or life science industries experience is preferred.
