Global Financial System Expert

A significant opportunity exists for an experienced Global Financial System Expert to join our finance team.

As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing global financial systems and processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Optimization: Conduct thorough assessments of existing financial processes, identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements, and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce non-value-added activities.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in deploying new systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption, and test/validate changes within the FP&A environment.
  • Data Management: Oversee data mapping and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial reporting; review documentation on data elements to support process improvements.
  • Training and Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate system training sessions and identify key stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new processes; act as a liaison between technical teams and users.
  • Leadership in Closing and Planning Processes: Coordinate and lead efforts related to the closing and planning calendar, ensuring alignment and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work in a matrixed global environment to define and implement financial reporting standards; engage with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and communicate them clearly.
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and stakeholders, fostering effective communication across teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement best practices and automation opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, process assessment, and change management, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders. They should also have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, be proactive self-starters with strong interpersonal skills, and be able to manage large datasets, meet deadlines, and present complex ideas clearly.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in FP&A with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of data standards and proficiency in data mapping.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities; proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage large datasets, meet deadlines, and present complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong initiative and a positive attitude to tackle new challenges.
