As a Telecommunications Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping businesses connect and collaborate with their customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to and resolve basic network incidents and service requests (LAN, cabling, connectivity).
- Perform physical checks and basic troubleshooting of network equipment such as switches and routers.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues.
- Provide regular status updates to internal and client stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and networking principles.
- Knowledge of switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, HP, or equivalent).
- Experience with physical cabling, patch panels, and network port testing.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, tracert, ipconfig).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and document technical procedures.
