Operational Support Specialist

This role involves the completion of basic administrative tasks and coordination relating to front-line operations which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service.

The primary focus is on office-based activities with minimal involvement in operational tasks. Under close guidance, the following key responsibilities are completed:

  • Support and schedule loading/unloading processes for trucks and other vehicles
  • Release vehicles for pick-up and delivery
  • Monitor and participate in the organization of the work environment
  • Update warehouse, pick-up and delivery reports and enter/update information in internal transport systems
  • Participate in dedicated operations and monitor the performance of specific customers
  • Execute activities related to issue pre-alerts, execute administrative activities, generate reports, and collect operational data to support the update of KPIs
  • Execute activities related to indoor and outdoor risk management and communicate pending issues to the security sector
  • Answer phones, transfer calls, and take messages as required
  • Prepare paperwork for outbound packages (airways bills, PO Box, and address)
  • Assist customers by answering questions on basic features of service
Education and Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in English is necessary, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred. No prior experience is required, but 0-1 year of clerical experience is beneficial.
