Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our team at Orange Business. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network topologies, routing flows, and network changes to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain reusable code using Python and Ansible to automate network configuration and deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to identify and implement network improvements and enhancements.
  • Coordinate and activate managed customer backbones IP/SDN changes, ensuring minimal disruption to network services.
  • Track and report on all changes received, ensuring compliance with network change guidelines.
  • Proactively audit network configuration quality to ensure security and compliance.
  • Own network levelling, compliance to security rules, and ensure minimum level of security weaknesses on the network.
  • Provide internal support and presentations on automation and network data analytics.
  • Provide weekly reports to management on activity and performance.
  • Promote and mentor automation and network-related skills within the team.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate tools, systems, and processes required to provide quality provisioning and Change Management.
  • Technical Lead of projects requiring edge technologies on respective areas of expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in organizations within the Telecom or IT/Software industry.
  • Python and/or Ansible experience on IT/networking environment.
  • Professional skills:
    • Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIP level
    • Red Hat Ansible
    • Backbone or Service Provider Juniper and Cisco configuration expertise
    • Python
    • Git and Gitlab
    • Linux System administration
    • Openstack and Contrail Experience
    • Kubernetes and Rancher demonstrated Experience
    • Cloud and virtualization (KVM/VMware)
    • Presentation and organization skills
