Night Auditor Job Description

This position requires a detail-oriented individual to oversee hotel operations during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service & Hospitality:
  • Provide exceptional guest service ensuring the satisfaction of overnight guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Assist with check-ins and check-outs during the overnight hours.
  • Monitor the hotel's security system and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Operational Duties:
  • Ensure all reports, guest folios, and room status updates are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain accurate records of any guest issues, incidents, or requests and follow through to resolution.
  • Communicate and work closely with the day shift team to ensure smooth transition and update on key operational matters.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Complete end-of-day financial processes and submit required documentation to the accounting team.
  • Support the management team by providing feedback on guest preferences, issues, and operational insights.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment is preferred.
  • Experience in handling cash, credit transactions, and performing audits is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
