Mastercard is a global technology company that enables financial institutions to deliver seamless payments services to consumers and merchants. Our Channel and Partnership Programmatic role is responsible for developing and executing a programmatic approach to channel partner management, driving engagement, and significantly increasing sales of our core solutions through the partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:- We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Channel and Partner Professional to join the team. This individual will design, implement, and manage a scalable, programmatic framework for partner engagement, including a tiering system, clear performance metrics, and automated processes.
- The successful candidate will oversee the strategic development and day-to-day management of the partner portal. They will drive high levels of partner adoption and engagement by ensuring the portal is a central hub for resources, training, and communication.
- This role involves developing and executing comprehensive training programs for partners on our main solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure partners are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and sales collateral necessary to effectively sell our products.
- The successful candidate will directly drive sales and revenue through partners. They will work collaboratively with partners to identify joint business opportunities, create co-selling strategies, and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- We establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the partner program, including sales growth, partner engagement, and training completion. Our team provides regular, data-driven reports to senior leadership.
- This role requires building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key partners at all levels. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive and productive partnership.
- We stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and partner feedback to continuously optimize the partner program and ensure we remain a partner of choice.
- The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development, preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
- A proven track record of designing and implementing successful, scalable partner programs is essential. Experience with partner relationship management (PRM) software is a plus.
- A strong history of meeting and exceeding sales targets through a partner ecosystem is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and negotiate with partners and internal stakeholders, are essential.
- This role requires strategic thinking about partner relationships and how they can be leveraged to achieve business objectives.
- A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, is essential.
- An MBA is desirable, but not essential.
- All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks come with an inherent risk to the organization. - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed. Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
