A strong background in transfusion medicine, blood banking services, and regulatory compliance is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high standards of medical care across operations, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validations, reports, and donor records; supervise immunohematology reference laboratory operations.
  • Provide expert advice on complex medical decisions, donor reactions, transfusion events, and non-conforming products.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and scientific developments to inform strategic planning and policy development.
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff, fellows, technologists, and partner institutions.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, advisory boards, and community outreach events aligned with our mission.
  • Provide executive-level leadership, including personnel management and budget oversight.
