As an Account Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for developing strategic mid-sized vendors with close management to accelerate their long-term growth in Retail. This includes ensuring selection growth and availability for Amazon customers in a sustainable and scalable way.
You will manage vendors from a specific Product Family, being responsible for these business P&L. Your key objectives will be to create, develop, and execute a growth acceleration plan customized for each vendor, driving revenue and performance improvement margin.
You will also be responsible for aligning with key stakeholders the business strategy, analyzing and tracking key KPIs to ensure vendors' performance, and suggesting process improvements and assisting internal partners to drive them to completion.
A Day in the LifeYou will connect with partner business teams, peers, and stakeholders to understand and align business opportunities. You will educate vendors about Amazon tools, processes, and resources, create and negotiate business agreements, and analyze, create, and manage vendors' deals and events performances.
You will identify opportunities to improve tools and systems for Retail, simplify or automate tasks, and execute opportunities involving basic software applications, such as Excel.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of sales or account management experience, 2+ years of digital advertising and client-facing roles experience, experience with Excel, and experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
You will also need experience analyzing key open issues and resolution metrics for each of the managed accounts and experience in relationship management within technology, start-ups, or SaaS Platforms.
