You will be responsible for reconciling various financial accounts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to prevent future errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Auditing financial declarations from branches
  • TUV, Tote, Betman, Banking, EFT, Cheque, LPMS, ATM, Credit Card, Ithuba, and Manual transactions reconciliations
  • Auditing receivables (credit card or other)
  • Performing cash counts when requested
  • Auditing paperwork and daily recons
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Stock counts, fixed asset counts, and vending stock confirmation
  • Branch food and beverage stock counts
  • Reporting daily observations to senior and management
  • Assisting branches and relevant departments with queries
  • Submitting daily/weekly timesheets
  • Performing weekly racing distribution counts
  • Monthly petty cash reconciliation
  • Voucher verification
  • Confirming monthly bar and kitchen stock variances
  • Working collaboratively with the team

Requirements:

  • Completed matric with mathematics and English
  • Computer literacy
  • 1-year administration experience
  • Degree/Diploma in related field (bonus)
  • Valid driver's license (bonus)
