Our organization seeks a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to play a crucial role in financial reporting and support the overall accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and interpret comprehensive financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct thorough reviews of accounts payable, accounts receivable records, and inventory valuation.
- Verify count sheets and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and tax requirements.
- Audit financial statements, guaranteeing their completion and accuracy.
- Develop and manage budgets, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Implement internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate closely with the operations team.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Financial Management or Accounting.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and a hands-on approach.
- At least 3 years of experience with Sage 50/200 or similar accounting systems.
- Previous experience in FMCG, Fast Food, or Retail sectors preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact across all organizational levels.
