Human Resources Generalist Role Overview

The role of a Human Resources Generalist involves providing support to the HR team in various aspects, including employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate employment records. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Providing HR support to employees by answering their questions and responding to requests regarding employment contracts, global benefits, employment verifications, and other general inquiries.
  • Maintaining our HRIS system, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in processing all team member changes and new joiners.
  • Owning global projects related to engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
  • Partnering with managers and employees to support HR processes and drive people strategy for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Working as a truly global partner to colleagues, particularly leads, managers, and executives.
  • Processing new hires, including country-specific onboarding documentation, creation of files, systems setup, and coordination of introductory reviews.
  • Providing support to employees for benefits enrollment and payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate data provision.
  • Liaising with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments.
  • Creating purchase orders for internal departments.
  • Providing administrative support to employees for benefits enrollment.
  • Conducting regular audits of employment files and systems to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and GDPR compliant.
  • Continually working to improve processes, identifying areas for enhancement to drive the function forward.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A track record of exceptional achievement from high school and graduate studies.
  • Internship experience working in an HR/People team, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritize complex workloads, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivation and a results-driven approach with a clear focus on accuracy.
  • A high level of honesty, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential data.
  • A flexible attitude and ease in adapting to change.
  • The willingness to take the initiative and provide suggestions and ideas to contribute to the success of the role/team.
  • Ambition to grow your career within HR.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
