Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our engineering team in the design and development of highly scalable web services and systems.

In this role, you will lead a high-performing engineering team and establish a long-term architectural roadmap that drives continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of our product.

About the Role

This is an opportunity for technical leaders who want to work closely with business stakeholders in defining, designing, building, and operating products that solve interesting business problems.

You will be responsible for establishing and executing the product vision, managing dependencies across teams, balancing technical debt with feature development, and ensuring operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Building and leading high-performing engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching engineers, handling hiring and team composition decisions.
  • Technical Leadership: Driving technical strategy and architecture decisions, ensuring technical excellence and best practices, reviewing and providing guidance on design documents, maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Project & Delivery Management: Owning delivery commitments and roadmaps, managing dependencies across teams, balancing technical debt with feature development, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Culture & Process: Fostering a culture of innovation, implementing and improving development processes, managing team ceremonies, building inclusive team culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of engineering team management experience, 7+ years of engineering experience, 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience, knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy, experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers.
