Job OverviewThe Creative Director will lead the development of our product vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and maintaining focus among team members.
This involves working closely with the Production Manager and Head of Studio to define project scope, manage timelines and budget, and foster a collaborative environment that inspires creativity.
The ideal candidate will articulate their vision, drive collective innovation, and ensure consistency and quality across all aspects of the product.
Main Responsibilities:- Visionary Leadership: Define a clear, achievable creative vision for the product and communicate it effectively to the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Core Team members to develop their specific parts of the vision, integrating artistic and technical elements.
- Project Management: Review priorities and scope with the Product Manager, considering value proposition and goals, while championing the product's unique vision.
- Performance Review: Evaluate production timelines, budget, and team performance with the Product Manager.
- Leadership Development: Nurture and communicate the overall creative direction, inspiring the team through effective leadership.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the product meets stakeholders' needs by monitoring internal and external QA results and making informed creative decisions.
- Product Consistency: Guarantee consistency and quality across the product, ensuring creative cohesion between user experience and company strategy.
- Spokesperson: Serve as the spokesperson for the product's vision within the team, for external stakeholders, and corporate management.
- Proven experience in a creative leadership position on high-quality professional entertainment products.
- Strong leadership qualities, including positivity, exceptional interpersonal skills, and effective communication.
- Ability to listen, communicate effectively (spoken and written), and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fluency in English.
- Deep understanding of current trends in XR, gaming, and entertainment industries, influencing user expectations and behaviors.
- Huge curiosity and openness to research and expand knowledge in virtual reality games, narratives, immersive art, etc.
- Familiarity with Google G Suite, Monday, Slack, and Github.
- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Previous experience with VR and AR content is desirable.
- A passion for Games, Movies, TV, Art, Animation, Electronics, RPGs, Literature, Theater, Popular Culture, and narrative experiences.
- Knowledge of other project management techniques.
- Experience in a technology or content development environment.
