As a software engineering leader, you will oversee a team responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop team members through management, coaching, mentoring, and feedback to foster growth and learning;
- Owning team processes, agility, ceremonies, and flow metrics to ensure seamless collaboration;
- Leading technical discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and Agile ceremonies to promote best practices;
- Implementing engineering standards and guiding principles;
- Maintaining back-end development skills (APIs, cloud, messaging, observability, CI/CD, etc.) to stay current;
- Contribution to setting team, product, and engineering goals;
- Having a solution-oriented mindset and driving continuous improvement;
- Managing distributed remote teams effectively;
- Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Collaboration with product managers, designers, and data scientists;
- Focusing on results-oriented outcomes;
- Experience in hiring, interviewing, and growing teams;
- Understanding of operations (24x7 services) and observability.
- Leadership experience using Kanban;
- Data science and artificial intelligence expertise.
