Senior Construction Modeling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with BIM modeling software and be able to lead the BIM modeling efforts for our construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BIM models, coordinating with project teams, ensuring model accuracy, and supporting BIM QA/QC processes. They will also prepare BIM models and generate general arrangement plans, diagrams, sections, elevations, and schedules using Revit.
Key responsibilities include reviewing Tender & IFC BIM models, 2D drawings, and asset data issued by consultants in line with ISO19650 standards. The candidate will also maintain and optimize BIM models following best industry practices to ensure healthy, coordinated models.
The BIM Modeler will work closely with the design and construction teams to support modeling from 2D CAD plans and construction documents. They will conduct clash detection and support clash avoidance measures, assist internal and external stakeholders with the development and updating of construction documents, and update models and drawings based on RFI responses, engineering instructions, and design changes.
Additionally, the BIM Modeler will identify discrepancies in contract documents and report them promptly, ensure all work complies with project information standards, BIM Execution Plans, and ALEC BIM implementation standards, and support as-built/redline and handover processes by updating models and extracting accurate drawings.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM fundamentals, principles, and workflows, and be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD. They will also have good written and spoken English, proficiency with Navisworks and/or Revizto, and advanced skills in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma in Architecture or Civil Engineering (3 years)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a BIM Modeler in GCC countries
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Advanced knowledge of BIM fundamentals, principles, and workflows
- Experience working in a collaborative shared environment
- Good written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Navisworks and/or Revizto
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
