About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer to join our team at ADP Brazil Labs. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Cobol and other mainframe technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using Cobol and other mainframe technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and ADP's coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with other teams and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cobol development and mainframe technologies
  • Strong understanding of Cobol programming language and mainframe architecture
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ChangeMan, SPUFI, QMF, CLISTs, REXX, and INSYNCH UTILITIES
  • Knowledge of Mainframe CICS REST Web Service and JSON/XML
  • Experience with JAVA and AWS technologies
