Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 5+ years of experience in general accounting roles, and significant experience working with SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, testing and auditing internal processes, improving the utilization of actuals business tools, conducting root cause analysis, recording business transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all financial declarations, including tax returns
  • Test and audit internal processes and controls
  • Improve the utilization of actuals business tools
  • Conduct root cause analysis to rectify erroneous transactions
  • Record all business transactions in the accounting system
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Support local accounting principles based on generally accepted accounting principles
  • Oversee cycle-count programs
  • Inventory valuation
  • Purchase price variance analysis
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, check payments, all tax payments, and customs payments
  • Maintain fixed asset register; report capital expenditures; conduct asset audits
  • Prepare account analysis
  • Prepare annexes to the financial statements
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Preparation and supervision of balance sheet (US GAAP and Brazil accounting principles)
  • Manage cash balance by monitoring/reconciliation weekly banking activity to ensure cash availability for timely payment of vendors
  • Monthly taxes preparation, regional report
  • Cash collection and supervision of A/R, A/P
  • Processes and inventory process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CRC (Accounting Certificate)
  • 5+ years in general accountant role in a corporate/computerized environment
  • SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SAP, ERP SYSTEMS, AND MICROSOFT PRODUCTS
  • Tax experience (ISS, PIS, COFINS, ICMS)
  • Upper Intermediate English (written communication)
