This role is key to driving growth in B2B payments, expanding the network of buyers and suppliers, and delivering accelerated revenue growth.
- We are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong commercial management experience to lead our business development efforts in Large Market/B2B opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Commercial Large Market segment, including its AP/Procure-to-Pay and AR/Order-to-Cash cycle pain points.
This position is responsible for building and expanding the two-sided network of Buyers & Suppliers to deliver accelerated Gross Dollar Value (GDV) and Revenue growth in our Large & Mid-Market Corporate segments.
The Director, Business and Market Development position will deliver GDV & Net Revenue Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against the customers allocated to their portfolio.
The ideal candidate should be able to interact with external clients, generate and follow up on leads independently, and have good communication skills to contribute to team settings.
Main Responsibilities- Grow, maintain, convert, and track a healthy pipeline of Large Market/B2B opportunities across all issuers.
- Support issuers through the LM/B2B journey by clearly articulating the value Mastercard can bring.
- Closing deals requires bringing together the entire Mastercard capability set, across all functions.
- Create, drive, and win deals with Financial Institution partners, owning the response to Requests for Proposal when required.
- Develop and manage a Commercial BD events schedule.

- You possess superior interpersonal and communications skills.
- You have experience identifying strategic opportunities and managing multiple stakeholder projects.
- You are fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.
