Business Technology Expertise Role Overview

The Business Technology Expertise role plays a vital part in the technology teams within an agile delivery process.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Support global development teams in clarifying project requirements.
  • Define, document, check, coordinate, and manage project requirements.
  • Refine user stories and features to align with business objectives.
  • Define integration points with other systems and communicate system impacts to cross-functional teams.
  • Support product owners and subject matter experts in generating innovative ideas.
  • Execute pre- and post-deployment activities in various environments.
  • Process customer inquiries for troubleshooting and changes as part of an incident management process.
  • Cross-team collaboration to resolve integrated system support requirements.
  • Active participation and preparation for agile ceremonies such as planning, refinement, review, and retrospective sessions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Complete Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of system integration concepts including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, EDI, and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies such as SAFe is advantageous.
  • Experience in requirements engineering, testing, and production support.
  • Strong analytical, holistic, and conceptual thinking; effective communication skills.
