Role Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of industrial technology. You will drive innovation and development of cutting-edge solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-performance products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics, materials science, and design principles. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with manufacturing and production processes are essential.

Key responsibilities include creating 3D models and technical drawings, applying simplified engineering analyses, and evaluating simulation results to identify design improvements. Additionally, you will work with design for manufacturing to ensure projects are optimized for various manufacturing processes.

Other key tasks include developing physical prototypes, conducting tests to validate product performance, and participating in design reviews to provide insights and suggestions for continuous improvements.

  • Design and develop innovative mechanical systems and components using CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo, or NX).
  • Evaluate and interpret simulation results to identify design improvements and ensure the structural integrity of products.
  • Work with design for manufacturing (DFM) to ensure projects are optimized for machining, plastic injection molding, casting, and other manufacturing processes.
  • Develop physical prototypes and conduct tests to validate product performance, iterating as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, production) to ensure an efficient development workflow.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with manufacturing and production processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, following ASME Y14.5 or ISO 1101 standards.
  • Solid understanding of mechanics, materials science, and design principles.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Technical English proficiency for reading and writing.
