About the Role:

As a Senior Community Relations Analyst, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and NGOs. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our operations are conducted transparently and respectfully, while also identifying opportunities for social investment and community development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members, NGOs, and other local stakeholders.
  • Collect community feedback and communicate it internally to improve company practices.
  • Participate in sustainable development and social responsibility projects.
  • Manage grievances and ensure compliance with donation and hospitality processes.
  • Conduct mapping and monitoring of key local stakeholders and ensure the adoption of best practices for engaging with landowners and communities.
  • Provide information for continuous updates to the Stakeholder Matrix and support activities related to monitoring demographic changes and socio-environmental developments.
  • Foster synergy between operational areas and other support functions, complementing the company's strategy throughout the mining process.
  • Engage in strategic voluntary social investment actions, ensuring that Alcoa's sustainability initiatives are implemented through projects and volunteer activities.
  • Contribute to positive relationships between Alumar, Alcoa, Alcoa Foundation, and the Alcoa Institute with stakeholders, including the community, government, and civil organizations.
  • Assist management in overseeing projects funded by the plant, the Alcoa Institute, and Alcoa Foundation, as well as strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure the implementation of engagement and volunteering strategies, as well as initiatives by the Alcoa Institute and Alcoa Foundation at the unit level.
  • Monitor socioeconomic and environmental programs related to family production and non-timber products, such as seedling production.
Requirements:
  • Completed higher education in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Graduation in areas related to Sustainability and/or Social Responsibility, including Agronomy, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Law, and related fields.
  • Previous experience in community relations and institutional engagement.
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards related to communities and social responsibility.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Practical experience in community relations, institutional engagement, and community development is mandatory.
  • Experience with social responsibility projects and initiatives, particularly within the context of the Amazon region, is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (Category B).
