We are seeking a seasoned Internal Auditor to join our team in Sao Paulo.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and as part of a team to drive business growth and improvement through robust internal controls.

Job Purpose:

  • To evaluate company operations and determine if internal controls are adequate and effective in mitigating risks and achieving company objectives.
  • To provide objective assurance and consulting services to management on risk management, control, and governance processes.
  • To identify opportunities for controls improvements and develop mitigation and improvement plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic audits of operational and financial areas in accordance with approved Annual Audit Plan.
  • Interact with senior and mid-level management to collect and communicate information.
  • Document work performed and audit findings.
  • Discharge responsibilities in a manner consistent with The Institute of Internal Auditors' Code of Ethics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or related field.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and understanding of internal control framework.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
