Finance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations, as well as experience working with Murex.

The Finance Specialist will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing finance-related controls and processes, managing day-to-day project tasks, and assisting existing support groups in resolving client requests or issues.

They will also contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables and perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables, as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • - Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, COM, EQD, FXD, FXMM-
  • - Good understanding of accounting principles, accounting rules, ledger, and account balances-
  • - Good working knowledge of Murex Accounting knowledge-
  • - Strong understanding of Back Office functions as well as processing-
  • - Strong functional and technical understanding on the settlement instructions-
  • - Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providers-
  • - 4+ years' experience with Murex-
