About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist, International to join our team at SBA Communications. As a key member of our Global Benefits team, you will be responsible for administering benefits programs for Brazil and the Global East Markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the administration of all benefits and wellness programs for the assigned Region.
  • Facilitate daily benefits processing, including benefits enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident, and death claims.
  • Act as a liaison between management, third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and team members in all matters related to health, wellness, and other team member benefits.
  • Prepare and distribute written and electronic communication to all team members regarding benefit and wellness programs, annual renewals, plan documents, and any benefit changes.
  • Host and facilitate presentations of new benefits, wellness programs, benefits refresher sessions, and new hire benefit orientation overviews.
  • Participate in surveys regarding the Region's benefits trends in coordination with the Compensation area.
  • Maintain data within internal HRIS and external third-party sites, ensuring data integrity and resolving data errors.
  • Process monthly billings from providers, reviewing billings for accuracy and submitting for payment in a timely manner.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese required.
  • Diploma/GED Bachelor's Degree preferred, with extensive HR administration experience and familiarity with benefits brokerage activity with the Region.
  • Advanced computer software literacy, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) experience required, with UltiPro experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • International Travel 20% of the time.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License.
  • Valid Government Issued Passport.
