Transportation Professional

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting medical devices, medications, and biological materials with quality measures while maintaining the integrity of the products.

• Load and/or unload company vehicles with scheduled packages for pickups and/or deliveries.
• Verify the integrity and condition of the merchandise being transported during pickups and deliveries.
• Always lock company vehicles and never leave them unattended when loaded. Vehicles must only be parked in secure public parking areas.
• Consult with the Coordinator regarding the best available route to ensure timely deliveries and/or pickups.
• Report all events to the office: pickups, deliveries, and any delays or discrepancies must be reported immediately, and further instructions awaited.
• Ensure that all documentation (e.g., airway bill, invoice, etc.) and labeling are correct and fully completed according to Company policies, procedures, and good documentation practices.
• Keep an original copy of the HWB and return it to the office.
• Serve as the communication link between clients and office staff. Any customer feedback or suggestions must be immediately reported to the Driver Dispatcher.
• Follow specific instructions (e.g., stopping the temperature monitor).
• Maintain excellent cooperation with other team members.
• Be courteous to all clients, always use appropriate language, and remain presentable by wearing clean and well-maintained clothing/uniform at all times.
• Always follow traffic regulations and workplace safety rules.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in optimal condition, following the maintenance schedule (including annual technical inspections) and keeping it clean inside and out.
• Perform tasks assigned by the administrative and accounting areas (in coordination with the Driver Dispatcher) and provide the necessary documentation to the office as required by daily activities.
• Pick up shipments at the airport or from the sender's address, depending on the nature of the import or export operation.
• Ensure that shipments are marked, numbered, and labeled correctly, and that packaging meets operational temperature control standards before delivering to the airline.
• Stay up to date on customs procedures, such as system transmissions and tariff classifications.
• Perform customs clearance when necessary.
• Build relationships with airlines, agents, and airport staff to ensure efficient information flow and smooth shipment delivery.

• Education: High School or higher.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Skills: Hold a current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record, strong knowledge of metropolitan routes and efficient navigation, pleasant, proactive, and customer-focused attitude, solid understanding of cold chain management and basic dangerous goods (DG) handling procedures, maintains a strong sense of urgency while ensuring meticulous attention to detail, proactively identifies and resolves potential delivery issues before they arise, shows initiative, good judgment, and strong problem-solving skills, dependable, accountable, and committed to delivering results, collaborative and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal communication.
