Mission-Critical Transportation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Transportation Expert to lead our mission-critical transportation initiatives. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will develop and execute strategies that balance service and cost.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Transportation Strategies: Design and implement effective transportation plans that optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Lead a Team of Professionals: Supervise and mentor a team of transportation experts to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external partners, including suppliers, carriers, and customers, to ensure efficient movement of goods.
  • Risk Management and Supply Continuity: Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation operations, ensuring continuity of supply through demand forecasting and supplier relationships.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best-in-class practices by innovating and championing continuous improvement in transportation operations.

You Will Need:

  • Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics: Proven track record of setting and executing strategies in supply chain and logistics in a matrix organization.
  • Expertise in Transportation Operations: Extensive understanding and expertise in transportation operations, third-party logistics management, and transportation management software.
  • Negotiation and Influencing Skills: Ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and influence decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to drive business results.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performance teams to achieve goals and objectives.

Additional Requirements:

  • Intermediate English Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • No Relocation Support: Not eligible for relocation assistance.
