Overview
The role of Project Officer at UNESCO's Brasilia Office is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the organization's mission in Brazil.
As a key member of the Social and Human Sciences (SHS) team, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of projects related to social and human sciences in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elaborate project proposals, coordinate technical cooperation agreements, and manage budgets and financial situations.
- Provide technical and operational inputs for the design, elaboration, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of extra-budgetary projects.
- Map-out the development stage of topics under UNESCO's mandate in social and human sciences and provide contributions to planning documents.
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in any area of Social or Human Sciences.
- Four to six years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects or programs in the fields of social and human sciences, public policy, management, or related areas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills.
Benefits:
