We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Rio de Janeiro - RJ. You will oversee the daily operations of one of our Delivery Stations, which play a crucial role in our rapidly growing logistics network.
As a Logistics Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and motivate a team of Shift Managers and their direct reports. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your area of operation;
- Becoming proficient in specific processes and activities within Delivery Stations, such as 5S audits;
- Collecting and analyzing data to optimize inventory control and systems environment;
- Implementing strategies to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and ensure exceptional customer experience;
- Partnering with support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, IT) on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels;
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays;
- Experience in leading large, diverse teams;
- Expertise in production or supply chain areas, with a proven track record in similar logistics environments;
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros);
- Fluent Portuguese and basic English language proficiency;
- Completed master's degree or MBA; Experience with Kaizen and Lean methodologies and related techniques.
