About the RoleThis is a mid-senior level management position responsible for managing teams in logistics, receiving, shipping, inventory control, product storage, and distribution with customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all processes related to Logistics, Maintenance, and Purchasing/Procurement.
- Coordinate and supervise processes related to Licenses, Permits, Certificates, in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Ensure the safety and security of the operation by observing the correct use of PPE, equipment, and tools used by employees.
- Manage operating costs and seek savings opportunities to optimize results.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and demonstrate area performance at results meetings.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics operations.
- At least 2 years of proven experience leading and managing teams.
- Skilled in fostering cross-functional relationships and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with integrated business management systems (ERP) is a plus.
