We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medical account receivables and ensuring timely payment from patients, insurance providers, and third-party agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect outstanding balances through effective communication with patients and insurance providers;
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner;
- Negotiate payment plans with patients and ensure compliance with company policies;
- Review insurance remittance advices for accuracy and identify billing errors or short-payments;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address operational issues and improve process efficiency;
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of one year of experience in medical collections or revenue cycle management;
- Working knowledge of automated billing systems and commercial insurance;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders;
- Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with 10-key calculator.
