Job Opportunity: Temp Referral Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Temp Referral Specialist. This position is responsible for managing specialty referral orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selects referrals from assigned site bucket, reviews order, and chart documents for appropriateness and completeness.
  • Contacts patient to confirm referral details and advises on next steps.
  • Obtains insurance authorization for referral and uploads relevant documents into the electronic health record.
  • Collates necessary documents for referral submission to specialists.
  • Documents actions in electronic health record.
