We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to oversee our transportation operations. As an Assistant Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods from one place to another.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule transportation operations: You will be in charge of planning and scheduling transportation routes, taking into account factors such as traffic, weather, and road conditions.
  • Monitor loading, transshipment, and unloading processes: You will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods at various points along the transportation route.
  • Verify safety conditions: You will need to ensure that all vehicles and equipment used for transportation are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Manage financial resources: You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of transportation, including budgeting and tracking expenses.
  • Support clients: You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide them with excellent customer service.
  • Plan routes: You will need to plan the most efficient routes for transportation, taking into account factors such as distance, time, and fuel consumption.
  • Oversee procedures: You will be responsible for ensuring that all transportation procedures are followed, and that any issues or problems are addressed promptly.
