Technical Equipment Specialist

The Field Service Engineer will provide technical expertise, on-site services, and engineering support to customers. The role involves ensuring installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of equipment to drive customer satisfaction and long-term performance.

You will act as a key technical liaison between customers and our teams. Travel across the region to diverse mine sites and gain field experience.

The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical equipment, including HPGRs, crushers, sizers, ball/vert mills, thickeners, filters, flotation cells, and rotary kilns or related machines.

Familiarity with hydraulic systems, instrumentation, and process is required. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documentation is also necessary.

Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and service software is essential. Knowledge of maintenance best practices and troubleshooting methodologies is required.

• Perform installation supervision, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections of equipment at customer sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with safety standards.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
• Deliver clear and professional service reports, documentation, and feedback to internal teams.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to identify opportunities for service improvement and aftermarket solutions.
• Actively represent the company in customer interactions, building trust and long-term relationships.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and adhere to field safety protocols.
• Travel to various mine sites within the region and occasionally to other countries.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service of the cited equipment is required.

Experience working in mine sites or heavy industrial environments is essential.

A strong communication and customer service orientation is necessary.

Proficiency in Portuguese is required, and intermediate English and/or Spanish is preferred.

Availability to travel frequently (up to 90%) within the region and occasionally internationally is required.

A valid driver's license is necessary.
