Technical Field Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing technical expertise and on-site services to customers in the mining industry.

You will work closely with our engineering, product, and service teams to ensure installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of equipment. Additionally, you will travel across Brazil (and occasionally other South American countries) to diverse mine sites and gain field experience.

• Perform site supervision, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections of equipment at customer sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards.
• Support root cause analysis and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
• Deliver clear and professional service reports, documentation, and feedback to internal teams.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to identify opportunities for service improvement and aftermarket solutions.

• Solid knowledge of mechanical and/or electromechanical equipment such as HPGRs, crushers, sizers, ball/vert mills, thickeners, filters, flotation cells, rotary kilns or related machines.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, instrumentation, and process control.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and service software.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, mechatronic engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service of the cited equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in Portuguese (required) and intermediate English and/or Spanish (reading/writing/speaking).
