About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts in the LATAM banking sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Business Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive business development plan to drive sales growth and expand our footprint in the LATAM banking sector.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key banking clients and partners in the LATAM region, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the LATAM banking industry, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Drive Sales Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, pitch to clients, and close deals, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Lead Contract Negotiations: Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company, and work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize agreements.
  • Mentor and Lead a Team: Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and client success, and lead a team of business development professionals to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, and assess and mitigate risks associated with business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with a focus on the banking sector in LATAM.
  • Skills: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, strong understanding of the banking industry in LATAM, and excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the LATAM region.
