Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional in electric distribution projects? Do you have experience working with consulting environments for electric utilities or directly at an electric utility?

Leidos is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineering lead for electric distribution design engineering in Pennsylvania. As a valued team member, you can look forward to a fast-paced and diverse work environment with flexible work hours.

This position involves leading the development of electrical distribution work packages, performing engineering design and analysis, and working on Make Ready projects and/or capital/reliability designs. You will also be responsible for QA/QC tasks, reviewing engineering design packages with clients, and interacting directly with clients on a frequent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution and 4+ years of relevant experience working electric distribution projects in a consulting environment for electric utilities or directly at an electric utility. Experience with pole loading software, familiarity with National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and proficiency with engineering design quality control are highly desirable skills.

This position is mostly remote in nature but requires candidates to be located within the state of Pennsylvania to be available for local or regional travel as needed. The role may require customer-site visits to collect field data that will assist in developing work packages.
