Hotel Operations Director

The Hotel General Manager oversees all operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop SOPs, coordinate vendors and contractors, recruit, onboard, and train staff during the pre-opening phase.
  • Collaborate with ownership to execute the strategic vision.
  • Maintain exceptional service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing local team.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and international hospitality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with VIP and corporate clients.
  • Oversee budgets, P&L, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of senior hotel operations leadership experience (GM, Director of Ops, or similar).
  • Luxury or 5-star hotel experience is essential.
  • Pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, guest experience, and operational KPIs.
  • Familiarity with executive and business traveler needs.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • Open to international relocation (expat package available).
