Project Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join its office in São Paulo within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

  • The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for executing and leading projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget.
  • The Project Manager stands at the center of a complex set of relationships among the client, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors who deliver the elements of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  2. Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  3. Create and maintain project schedules.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact between the consulting engineering firm and the client.
  5. Understand client requirements and expectations.
  6. Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients.
  7. Assemble and lead a project team.
  8. Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.
  9. Motivate and manage team members to achieve project goals.
  10. Develop project budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  11. Monitor project expenses and financial performance.
  12. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  13. Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
  14. Ensure that the project meets quality standards and client expectations.
  15. Implement and enforce quality control processes.
  16. Understand and manage contract terms and conditions.
  17. Educate employees about the importance of sustainability
  18. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or general engineering and 10+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, construction or management are required. Proficiency in English is also necessary. Additional qualifications include knowledge of INMETRO Accreditation and familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
