Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the validation of Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets, with a focus on Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our client team from project initiation to implementation. As a Front Office Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving daily issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing, as well as addressing concerns from the Equity Derivatives Desk.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Resolve daily FO issues on functional, valuation, and pricing.">
  • Address daily issues stemming from the FO Equity Derivatives desk.">
  • Work closely with the EQD Desk Traders (L3) to address issues.">
  • Amend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations.">
  • Resolve requests or issues with Profit and Loss, Market Data, and booking.">
  • Analyze and propose solutions for overall deliverables.">
  • Liaise with technical teams to resolve FO-related issues and enhancements.">
  • Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.">
  • Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation.">
  • Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally.">
  • Perform testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • Strong product knowledge in EQD and COM.">
  • Very strong understanding of FX and IRD business.">
  • Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.">
  • Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.">
  • 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities.">
  • 4+ years experience in financial markets role.">
  • SQL proficiency.
