Transforming People and Culture at Volvo Group

As the Head of People and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture and driving business transformation at Volvo Group. Our focus on Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity creates a safe and supportive environment where each team member can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance on people and culture-related issues, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team to drive excellence in people management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Translate strategies into actionable plans and initiatives, driving talent development and succession planning.
  • Champion change management and continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of engagement and development.
  • Coach and support management at all levels to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as an Engagement Ambassador and Change Manager during employee surveys, promoting company values and guiding decision-making.
  • Foster relationships across the organization to maximize employee involvement in driving change.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a progressive people and culture manager in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people, culture, and management practices.
  • Must have HRIS work experience, preferably SAP tools (Success Factors) and a cloud-based system.
  • Ability to work effectively and guide business management at all levels and their organizations.
  • Ability to oversee responsibly substantial amounts of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Proved ability to influence, lead, manage, promote, and support projects as a strong business and people and culture acumen.
  • Highly adaptable and effective in virtual and cross-cultural environments, with a good command of Office 365 digital tools.
  • Fluency in English required, Spanish proficiency desired.
