We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Ocean Product Specialist.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in ocean transportation and logistics to work closely with our clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities- To provide expert knowledge on ocean carrier services, including capacity availability and vessel types.
- To develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, gateways, and port employees.
- To coordinate ocean shipments through workflow management systems.
- To audit shipment documents and ensure accuracy.
- To track shipments from departure to arrival and notify customers of status updates.
- To confirm cargo information and customer details before shipment.
- To monitor merchant CE availability and coordinate timely cargo delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, communicate effectively, and obtain positive results.
- Pro-active organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Good computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Advanced English language skills.
